Organized by the EU Program, co-sponsored by the Program in Contemporary European Politics and Society and the Seeger Center for Hellenic Studies, with the support of The Paul Sarbanes '54 Fund for Hellenism and Public Service Simon Reich is a professor in the Division of Global Affairs at Rutgers, Newark. Reich is author, co-author and editor of 10 books. His most recent is Good-bye Hegemony! Power and Influence in the Global System (with Richard Ned Lebow, Princeton, 2014 and Shanghai People's Publishing House, 2016). Reich’s work has been translated into Chinese, Dutch, German and Japanese. His forthcoming book (with Peter Dombrowski) is entitled The End of Grand Strategy: Maritime Operations in the 21st Century (Cornell, 2017). Reich also previously served as Director of Research and Analysis at the Royal Institute for International Affairs (Chatham House) in London and the inaugural director of the Ford Institute for Human Security at the University of the University of Pittsburgh.
