Allie Matthias is a junior concentrating in the School of Public and International Affairs and pursuing a certificate in History and the Practice of Diplomacy. Her academic and career focus is related to democracy studies, global governance, and gender-related issues. In the Summer of 2022, she interned for the UN Women’s Civil Society Division, and the summer before, she worked for the Refugee Resettlement and Asylum division of CWS. On campus, she is the co-president of Princeton Students for Reproductive Justice, an LISD student associate, an oral historian for ORL’s Refugee and Resettlement Project, the director of outreach and engagement for the Nassau Weekly magazine, and a researcher for the Princeton Asylum Project. Before starting Princeton, she participated in Princeton’s Bridge Year Program in Indonesia and interned for a local reproductive rights organization.
