Jackson Salter is a prospective Woodrow Wilson School major in the class of 2017. Before coming to Princeton, he participated in the Princeton Bridge Year Program in Senegal, where he volunteered at the human rights organization Tostan and also as a middle school English teacher. Jackson’s internship last summer at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development in Paris, along with his coursework in international relations and public policy, has spurred a deep interest in the European Union. He speaks English and French, is proficient in Spanish and Wolof, and is learning German. He hopes to remain engaged in European politics and foreign policy during his time at Princeton, and also looks forward to representing Princeton at the Allianz Kulturstiftung Summer Academy in Munich this summer.
