Bio/Description
Marina Henke's research is concerned with the use of EU trade policy as a foreign policy tool. More precisely, she studies the diffusion and efficacy of EU normative power through bilateral trade agreements. In her M.S. thesis, Marina compared the regulatory provisions of the EU-Chile and US-Chile FTAs with a view to better understand the underlying normative interests of both trade entities. For her PhD thesis, Marina aims to expand on this topic and also integrate the implementation effects of EU and US regulatory provisions on partner countries. Marina is a German national. She has a BA and MA from Sciences Po Paris and a MS from the London School of Economics.
