Matthieu Basselier grew up in France, where he is pursuing a dual degree in philosophy and social sciences at Sciences-Po and Paris-Sorbonne university. He is spending the last year towards his bachelor degree at Princeton University through the Princeton-Sciences Po Partnership. He has never been to the United States before but has traveled a lot in Europe and especially to Germany. He has thus became strongly sensitive to French German friendship and the construction of the EU.  He is thus  excited to join the EU Undergraduate Fellows Program. His post-bachelor goal is to attend Sciences-Po’s School of public affairs and later work as a civil servant for French or European administration. Having also a strong interest in philosophy, Matthieu enjoys intersecting philosophical and political perspectives. He speaks French and English and is proficient in German./p>
