Richard Deeg's research specialties include comparative politics with an emphasis on West European politics, German politics, and comparative political economy. He is the author of Finance Capitalism Unveiled: Banks and the German Political Economy (1999), and dozens of articles, chapters and reviews. He has recently written on the compatibility of German federalism and economic policy with globalization, Europe integration and monetary union. Ph.D., Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
